Mission Statement

The Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit
501(C)(3) entity whose purpose is to award grants to groups and organizations that establish programs, research, or initiatives that promote the health or satisfy the medical needs of the residents of Citrus County.

Grant Cycles

5th Grant Cycle – 2018 / 2019

October 1, 2, 3, and 4, 2018, Public notice for Letters of Inquiry for new projects

October 1 – October 22, 2018, Letters of Inquiry submission period

October 22, 2018 by 5pm, Letters of Inquiry due in the CCCCF, Inc. PO box

October 23, 2018, Grant Committee meeting/Letter review at College of Central Florida Citrus Campus, Conference and Learning Center C4 Room 105 at 9:00 am.

October 25, 2018 at 5pm Grant Committee meeting, at 6pm Letters of Inquiry approved by the CCCCF, Inc. board at the Lecanto Government Building, room 166

October 25 – 26, 2018, Congratulations emails, grant proposals, grant directions, grant checklist and grant due date is sent out to the approved applicants

October 29 – December 10, 2018, Grant Proposal submission period

December 10, 2018 by 5pm, Grant Proposal due in the CCCCF, Inc. PO box

December 11 and 12 (if needed), 2018, Grant Committee meeting/grant review at College of Central Florida Citrus Campus, Conference and Learning Center C4 Room 105 at 9:00 am.

December 13, 2018 at 6pm full board meeting and Grant Awards approved by CCCCF, Inc. board at the Lecanto Government Building, room 166

December 20 and 21, 2018, Congratulations letters mailed and emailed out to grantees with Grant Agreements for review by grantees and invitation to January 24, 2019 CCCCF, Inc. board meeting

January 24, 2019 at 6pm CCCCF, Inc. board meeting, Grant Agreements approved, signed and delivered (including award check) to grantees, photo op

Mission Statement

The Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit
501(C)(3) entity whose purpose is to award grants to groups and organizations that establish programs, research, or initiatives that promote the health or satisfy the medical needs of the residents of Citrus County.

The Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation, Inc. gives public notice that members of its Board of Directors have been invited to and will attend a meeting hosted by the United Way on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1582 N Meadowcrest Blvd Crystal River for a discussion on community wide mental health issues in Citrus County.

Who We Are

The Citrus County Community Charitable Foundation Inc. Board of Directors is composed of the following members of the Citrus County community as defined in our Bylaws.

  1. Two representatives of the community, elected at large
  2. Citrus County Hospital Board representative
  3. Citrus County Board of County Commissioners representative
  4. City of Inverness representative
  5. City of Crystal River representative
  6. Chief of Staff from Seven Rivers/ Chief of Staff from Citrus Memorial (these representatives rotate every two years)
  7. Citrus County Medical Society representative
  8. Florida Well Care Alliance representative
  9. Florida Department of Health - Citrus County Representative
  10. College of Central Florida representative
